The observatory is located in Kurudağ, on the slopes of Nif Mountain, southeast of İzmir. The road passes through Işıkkent.

 

Coming from the highway, in Işıkkent town, leave the highway and turn into the mountain road. After this point, the Observatory is reached by a mountain road of approximately 8 km. The road is steep and rough in some parts.

 

No one should go to the observatory for any reason without obtaining permission.

 

Even with permission, it is recommended not to enter the road without a powerful vehicle and experienced driver.
